Forta is a real-time detection network for security monitoring of blockchain activity.
Node operators play a key role in the security, reliability and growth of the network by operating the infrastructure that scans transactions and emits findings. Scan nodes run the detection bots that Forta’s work assigner directs to them, against each block. When the bots detect a specific condition or event, the network emits an alert which is stored on IPFS.
Operating a scan node requires a minimum stake in the native FORT token. Rewards in FORT are distributed based on performance and stake.
